Produce Inspectors of America (PIA) is a company that provides inspection services of perishable products. Our main goal is to satisfy the clients along with protecting and providing a healthy and secure environment to its employees.
To fulfill these goals, PIA will:
-Deliver quality services that meet the requirements of our clients under the commitment of providing continuous improvement in all of its processes, operations and the health and safety Performance Management at Work, applied throughout our entire Integrated Management System.
-Keep a real commitment to the community. Always ensuring the safety of the inspected produce.
-Establish wide channels of communication with our clients by providing clear, reliable and confidential information on time.
-To be present within all operations under a standardized inspection service. Auditing and periodically training our professionals, and thus delivering a quality service.-Follow through with the security and health legislation as well as the occupational safety applicable to all of our processes and operations.
-To protect and prevent eventual deterioration or damages of the physical and health integrity of its employees at the execution of their activities. Always encouraging communication and trainee programs through the proper use of EPP, this is assumed by the high commands of the company and adopted by all its members.
PIA has grown along with its clients over the years. For this reason, the majority of its offices have opened in the most important airports and maritime terminals in the United States: Miami (2001), Philadelphia (2003); Los Angeles (2004); and McAllen (2010).
Operations in Chile started in 2004 and our affiliate in Europe started its operations in 2006. in 2011, we opened operations in asia as well.
IN 2016, PIA DECIDED TO JOIN FORCES WITH QIMA, A GLOBAL QUALITY CONTROL AND SUPPLIER COMPLIANCE PROVIDER, TO EXPAND ITS REACH AND SERVICES.
